This policy covers the pelusa.app website. The Pelusa app for iPhone and Android has its own App Privacy Policy.
In short
- Nothing to fill in. The site has no forms, no accounts, no ads and no comments.
- No cookies and no tracking. No analytics, no pixels, no third-party scripts. Fonts, icons and sounds load from pelusa.app itself.
- One value in your browser: the language you picked. It never leaves your browser.
- The hosting sees your IP address, as it does for any website. We don’t receive these logs.
1. Who is responsible for the data
The controller is OSV Labs, the trading name of ORLOV, SERGEI (Sergei Orlov), an independent entrepreneur (monotributista).
Avenida Santa Fe 3681, Piso 16, Departamento G, C1425BGL, Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina
Email: contact@orlovs.dev
Full operator details are on the contact page. Below, “we” means OSV Labs.
2. What data the website processes
- Technical data of your visit. When you open a page, your browser sends the hosting provider your IP address, the address of the page, the time of the request and basic browser details (type, version, operating system, the page you came from). This is needed to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. We don’t receive these logs and can’t view them.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use them only to reply to you and handle your request.
The site does not ask for any other personal information. It has no forms, no accounts and no login.
3. Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies. It stores one value in your browser’s local storage: lang, the language you picked, so the next time the site opens in that language. The value stays in your browser and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site’s data in your browser. Because the value only remembers a choice you made, it does not need consent.
Container sounds play only after you tap and load from pelusa.app itself. If your browser supports it, the site may make the phone vibrate briefly. No data is collected when this happens.
4. Hosting, domain and email
- GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA) hosts the site and receives the technical data described in section 2. GitHub handles it under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) is the domain registrar and DNS provider for pelusa.app. When your device looks up the address pelusa.app, the request reaches Cloudflare’s DNS servers, usually through your internet provider’s resolver. Cloudflare doesn’t see which pages you open. Its policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Email. Messages to contact@orlovs.dev go through Cloudflare Email Routing, which forwards them to our mailbox on Gmail (Google). Cloudflare only passes them on; Google stores our correspondence under its privacy policy.
All site files, including fonts, icons, sounds and the store badges, load only from pelusa.app. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media widgets or any profiling or cross-site tracking service.
5. Links to the App Store and Google Play
The store buttons are ordinary links to Pelusa’s pages on the App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google receive nothing from the site until you tap one. In the store, Apple’s or Google’s own privacy policy applies.
A store link may carry a source label, such as src=youtube or site-hero. The label shows where the link was placed, so in Apple’s and Google’s developer consoles we see only total numbers of store visits and installs for each source. The label contains nothing about you, and the site doesn’t store it or send it to us.
The QR code leads to pelusa.app/get. That page checks in your browser whether you are on an iPhone or an Android phone and sends you to the right store. It records nothing.
6. Why we process data and on what legal basis
- Delivering the site and keeping it secure (hosting logs): our legitimate interest in running a working and safe website.
- Replying to your email: our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you asked us to take, such as a question about a purchase.
- Remembering your language: a feature you asked for by picking a language; the value stays in your browser.
7. How long data is kept
- Hosting logs are kept by GitHub under its own policy. We have no access to them.
- We keep your emails as long as needed to handle your request, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, for tax or accounting records about a purchase).
- The
langvalue stays in your browser until you clear the site’s data.
8. International transfers
GitHub, Cloudflare and Google are based in the USA, so data about your visit and your emails may be processed there. For transfers from the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, these providers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, and on Standard Contractual Clauses. For transfers from Argentina, they rely on contractual safeguards.
9. We don’t sell your data
We do not sell or share personal data, including as “selling” and “sharing” are defined in California law (CCPA/CPRA), and we do not use it for targeted advertising. Data is received only by the providers named in this policy, to run the site.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to tell you what data about you we hold, to give you a copy, to correct or delete it, to restrict its processing or to object to it. To do so, write to contact@orlovs.dev. We reply within the time limits set by law: within one month under the GDPR and within 10 days for an access request under Argentine law.
You may also complain to a data protection authority: in Argentina, the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP); in the EU or the EEA, the authority of your country; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Under Argentine Law 25.326, you may access your personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless you show a legitimate interest in doing so sooner (article 14, paragraph 3). The AAIP, as the supervisory authority under Law 25.326, handles complaints from anyone whose rights under the personal data protection rules have been breached.
11. Children
The site is not intended for anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has sent us their personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also point it out on this page.
13. Language versions
This policy is published in English and Spanish. Both versions say the same thing and are equally valid. If they ever differ, the meaning that is more favorable to you applies.
