Terms of Use

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Hi! These are the terms for using the Pelusa app for iPhone and Android (the “App”) and the pelusa.app website (the “Website”). We have tried to keep them short and plain.

1. About these Terms

The App and the Website are operated by OSV Labs, the trading name of ORLOV, SERGEI, an independent entrepreneur (monotributista) based in Buenos Aires, Argentina (“we”). Full operator details are on the contact page.

By installing and using the App, or by using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If something doesn’t suit you, simply stop using the App and uninstall it.

How we handle data is described in the App Privacy Policy and the website Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use the App

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using it, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. What Pelusa is

Pelusa helps you tidy up your phone’s gallery: view your photos as a feed, gather the ones you don’t need into a stack, drop them into containers and delete them through the phone’s system dialog.

Pelusa is free, with no ads and no subscriptions. Pelusa has no accounts: you don’t sign up or log in.

4. Deleting photos: only when you decide

  • Pelusa never deletes photos on its own. When you delete photos from a container, Pelusa asks the system to delete them, and the system deletes them only after you confirm in its own dialog.
  • On iPhone, deleted photos go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app and can be restored there for 30 days. If iCloud Photos is on, a deleted photo is also removed from your other devices and from iCloud.
  • On most Android phones, deleted photos go to the system trash and can usually be restored for about 30 days, including right in Pelusa. Some Android phones have no trash, and the system deletes photos right away and permanently. Pelusa can’t know this in advance: it checks after the first deletion and, if there is no trash, says so on the results screen.
  • When the restore period ends, the system deletes photos permanently, and neither we nor the App can bring them back.
  • You choose which photos to delete. Please look carefully before confirming. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for deleting photos you confirmed or for its consequences.

5. Your photos and backups

Pelusa does not copy, upload or back up your photos. They stay in your phone’s gallery. Containers, Pelusa’s trash history and settings are stored only on your device, and we can’t view or recover them. If you uninstall the App, clear its data or lose your phone, this information may be lost. If photos matter to you, keep a separate copy.

6. “Support the author” purchases

  • In Pelusa you can buy support items at five different prices. Each one is bought once, and you can buy several if you want to support again. This is voluntary one-time support, not a subscription: nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
  • A purchase is not required. Everything Pelusa does for tidying up your gallery is free for everyone, and nothing gets worse if you buy nothing.
  • Any purchase, at any amount, gives you the “Pelusa supporter” status and unlocks all supporter extras, including future ones, the same for every supporter. Today the extra is the “Pelusa supporter” badge in Settings. Supporter extras are a thank-you, not something you need to use Pelusa. We don’t promise that new extras will appear, when, or what they will be.
  • A purchase is tied to your Google Play account or Apple Account. To get the status back after reinstalling or on a new phone, sign in to the store with the same account and tap “Restore purchases” on the support screen.
  • Payment is processed by the store, Google Play or the App Store, under its own terms. The final price, including taxes, is shown in the store’s payment dialog before you pay. Purchases are verified and recorded by RevenueCat on our behalf.

7. Refunds and the right of withdrawal

Refunds are handled by the store under its rules. On Google Play you can usually request a refund in Google Play within 48 hours of purchase. On the App Store, request it at reportaproblem.apple.com under Apple’s rules. If the store can’t help, write to us at contact@orlovs.dev and we’ll see what we can do.

If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the law usually gives you 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content delivered right away, such as the supporter status, this right ends once delivery starts, if you agreed to immediate delivery and confirmed that you know you lose the right. How this applies to your purchase follows the store’s rules, and the store handles withdrawal and refunds. In Argentina, you can revoke an online purchase within 10 days under the Consumer Protection Law (Law 24.240).

After a refund, the “Pelusa supporter” status may be removed. Nothing in this section limits the rights that consumer law of your country gives you.

8. What not to do

Please don’t:

  • use the App or the Website to break the law or infringe on others’ rights;
  • copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the App, except where the law allows it;
  • bypass or interfere with purchases, or with the services the App uses to send crash reports and statistics;
  • use the App or the Website in a way that damages them or their availability for others.

9. Third-party services

Pelusa uses Google Play or the App Store (purchases), RevenueCat (verifying and recording purchases) and Firebase by Google (crash reports and usage statistics, which you can turn off in Settings). Those services’ own terms apply to them. We are not responsible for how the stores or your phone’s system work, including the system dialog, the trash and Recently Deleted.

10. Intellectual property

The App, the Website and their content (text, graphics, the mascot, sounds, design and code) belong to Sergei Orlov and are protected by copyright and other laws. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial purposes, in line with these Terms.

11. Changes to the App

We may update the App and the Website and add, change or remove features. Every feature available to everyone stays free. If a change removes something supporters already received, we will tell you in the App in advance where we reasonably can.

12. The App is provided “as is”

We work hard to make Pelusa careful and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”: without warranties that it fits every purpose, works without interruptions or errors on every device, or that bugs will be fixed within a certain time.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or lost profits related to using the App or the Website. Our total liability for any claim related to them is limited to the amount you paid for support purchases in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or the rights that the mandatory consumer law of your country gives you.

14. Ending use

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may restrict the use of the App if you seriously break these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 10, 12, 13 and 16 continue to apply after you stop using the App.

15. Additional terms for the App Store

If you got Pelusa from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App, and is not responsible for handling claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the App.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live if the law allows it.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. We will tell you about significant changes in the App or in the update notes before they take effect. If you keep using Pelusa after that, the new version applies. If you don’t agree with it, you can stop using the App.

18. Language versions

These Terms are published in English and Spanish. Both versions say the same thing and are equally valid. If they ever differ, the meaning that is more favorable to you applies.
